Age of Ice: How "Shrews" Conquered the World (July)
The Ice Age, the time of Woolly Mammoths, Sabretooth Cats, and Cave People, but what if we told you there was much more to it then that. What if we told you there wasn’t just one Ice Age, but many! Giant birds that hunted horses, carnivorous pigs the size of hippos, and lands isolated from the rest of the world that created its own weird mammals. This was the Cenozoic era, and we’re going to take a journey through it!
This is a month long class:
Day 1 - Surprising Rulers
(July 3rd, 6:00pm - 7:00pm PST - KIDS)
(July 3rd, 7:30pm - 8:30pm PST - ADULTS)
Day 2 - Trial Periods & Extinctions
(July 10th, 6:00pm - 7:00pm PST - KIDS)
(July 10th, 7:30pm - 8:30pm PST - ADULTS)
Day 3 - Modernity & Humble Beginnings
(July 17th, 6:00pm - 7:00pm PST - KIDS)
(July 17th, 7:30pm - 8:30pm PST - ADULTS)
Day 4 - “The Ice Age”
(July 24th, 6:00pm - 7:00pm PST - KIDS)
(July 24th, 7:30pm - 8:30pm PST - ADULTS)

*All Fossil Team classes are run via Zoom. Once the ticket/s are purchased, you will receive a confirmation email for the event and added to a roster. Prior to the event, you will receive a follow up reminder email with the Zoom invitation and instructions/notifications about the class.

*We understand that time gets away from us, we’re all Homo sapiens, so if you need to refund a ticket because you cannot make it please give us at least 48 hours notice before the class to issue the refund of 75% the ticket cost. If you are canceling DAY OF you forfeit the money paid since we will not be able to fill the spot in the class OR you may switch to another class at any time after the class date you registered for.
